Open Sky Group Named to FL100+ for Fourth Time

Award based on innovative solutions, including Clemens Food Group successful JDA Warehouse Management upgrade

RALEIGH, N.C. – Open Sky Group is honored to announce its inclusion in the “FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers” 2018 Listing. It’s the company’s fourth naming to this annual listing that serves as a resource of software and technology providers whose products and services are critical for companies in the global food and beverage supply chain. Open Sky Group is a global specialist in JDA Warehouse Management, JDA Warehouse Labor Management, and JDA Transportation Management software.

Clemens Food Group first began working with Open Sky Group on a WMS Upgrade. “Open Sky Group teams are extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to making Clemens successful,” said Stu Farber, VP of IT for Clemens Food Group. “Not only have we seen a 30 percent reduction in maintenance costs by upgrading with Open Sky Group, we’ve been empowered to handle our own future upgrades, which brings further cost savings.”

“It’s an honor to be included for the fourth time. We understand the critical nature of the protein industry and use our rapid upgrade and implementation methodology for quicker installation and a faster return on investment,” said Mike Noble, VP, Client Services for Open Sky Group. “On average, our clients who upgrade to newer versions of JDA software products are reducing their modifications by 80 – 90 percent and upgrading at 25 percent of the original implementation costs.”

“The digital supply chain continues its rapid emergence, bringing with it expanded capabilities that impact visibility, security, compliance and efficiency,” remarks Lara L. Sowinski, editorial director for Food Logistics and its sister publication, Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Every aspect of the global food supply chain stands to benefit from new and innovative software and technology that is fundamentally changing the global food supply chain.”

Companies on this year’s “FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers” list are profiled in the November/December 2018 issue of Food Logistics, as well as online.
