Keys to Smooth Integration with WMS Implementations

Open Sky Group and Client TVS Supply Chain Solutions North America will co-present on a panel to share tools, approaches and lessons learned at JDA ICON 2019

Open Sky Group, global specialists in JDA Software solutions, announces that its client, TVS Supply Chain Solutions North America (TVS), will present the keys to smooth integration with WMS implementations. TVS, a leading third-party logistics provider, is currently partnering with Open Sky Group to implement JDA Warehouse Management and JDA Warehouse Labor Management and will be sharing their integration experience during JDA’s annual customer conference, JDA ICON 2019, in Dallas, May 7 – 10. The project uses Open Sky Group’s proprietary implementation methodology which contains stock integration channels and follows best practices resulting in smoother systems integration.

“Integration is the one thing we talk about more than anything else in our IT department; integrations to our own internal systems and externally to clients. One aspect of the JDA systems that we really like, and that Open Sky Group was able to demonstrate through the Proof of Concept (POC) is the configurability of the JDA solution,” says Dan White, Director of IT for TVS Supply Chain Solutions North America. “Everything looks great in PowerPoint but at the end of the day, the POC proved that Open Sky Group can really deliver smooth integrations for JDA Warehouse Management. They understand the software and have the experience and expertise we were looking for to get a system that works for us, instead of making us work for our system.”

“We know that many companies have experienced challenges when it comes to integration during a WMS project. While there are a lot of contributing factors as to whether it goes smoothly or not, we find it generally boils down to communication and approach,” said Chad Kramlich, Chief Revenue Officer, Open Sky Group. “The TVS and Open Sky Group teams work very closely together and are sticking to best practices for the integrations. Open Sky Group’s Chad Kramlich will join Dan White and Darren Baker from TVS Supply Chain Solutions North America on Thursday, May 9th from 3:15 – 4:00 pm CDT. The panel will be moderated by JDA’s Steve Simmerman. Panelists will also discuss the WMS selection process and share decision-making tools and keys to successfully integrating systems.
