Ask the Expert
What does your day-to-day look like?
I lead a team of consultants to deliver large-scale labor management and warehouse optimization programs. My days consist of engaging with clients to understand operational needs, coaching team members, and ensuring we drive measurable outcomes through the deployment of Blue Yonder WLM, WMS, and other supply chain technologies. I also support business development and expansion by aligning client goals with scalable, data-driven solutions. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever had a dull day.
How did you get started in supply chain?
Funny enough, my background was in Finance and Accounting and I stumbled into supply chain through a close colleague. I started operations and engineering roles, managing warehouse performance across multiple sites. Over time, I transitioned into program management, where I led cross-functional teams through major implementations. I found that supply chain was a great fit because it sits at the heart of execution, data, and problem-solving, three things I enjoy most.
How does supply chain impact a company’s broader strategy?
My perspective on supply chain is that it’s a competitive lever. It’s how companies fulfill promises to customers efficiently and profitably. When optimized, it frees up working capital, increases speed to market, and improves customer satisfaction, all of which are critical to broader business success.
What do you view as the biggest challenge in the current supply chain environment and how can it be solved?
I think it depends on perspective. In my opinion, today one of the biggest challenges is the pace of change, both in customer expectations and technology. It creates constant pressure. Many organizations struggle to adapt due to siloed systems or outdated processes. Solving this requires a blend of strong change management, scalable digital tools, and a workforce that’s trained and empowered to use them effectively.
What philosophy do you follow while working with customers?
I strive for partnership over prescription. I believe in meeting clients where they are, building trust, and guiding them toward solutions that make sense for their goals, not just what’s shiny or trending. I think that the best outcomes happen when we co-create solutions and take ownership together.
Please share your favorite success story.
One of my proudest moments was winning a CEO award for developing a knowledge database that cut WLM implementation lead times by 50% and generated $1M in savings. It was a team effort built on innovation, client feedback, and process discipline. It’s rewarding to see our work scale and become the new standard.
What advice would you give to someone looking to enter the supply chain industry?
Be curious and stay flexible. The industry is constantly evolving, and those you thrive are the ones who adapt, ask questions, fail fast, and learn from it. Learn to think both operationally and strategically; it’s the bridge between execution and value.
What is a fun fact about yourself that your clients may not know?
I’m restoring a 1991 Nissan 240SX in my spare time. It’s a passion project that blends engineering, personal expression, and driving for the sake of pure fun.
